This is a tune from Kirby's Dream Land 3 (1997, SNES): "Ripple Field 1". I might be wrong, but I think this theme can be heard only in this game. How is it possible ?? Jun Ishikawa did a great job at composing a nice theme that makes you want to go outside and have a walk under the sun! It brings so much joy! I really enjoy listening to the classic Kirby themes (Gourmet Race, Green Greens, Butter Building, Float Islands...), but I discovered not very long ago this "Ripple Field 1" theme and I immediately thought: this would sound so COOL on guitar!!

I love everything in "Ripple Field 1": the contrast between the calming melody and the craziness of the rhythmic arpeggios (which I turned into guitar chords), the energy of the bass line and the percussions... and the fact it is played on a stage that takes place at the sea! The hardest part of my arrangement is the rhythmic guitar. I had to slow down the tempo a bit, otherwise my right arm would get tired! Also, I don't have a bass guitar, but I couldn't resist playing that bass line with the classical guitar. It took a looong time for the strings to stabilize, after going from a standard tuning... to a drop G tuning! And when recording, I also created a track just for the percussions, because I wanted high energy for this arrangement.

It took me sooo much time to get this final result, but I am very happy with it, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
