Ridiculous Dirt & Rowdy Terrain! Roberts Creek, Sunshine Coast. Mountain Bike Ride! Vol. 102 (4K)

Описание: My first trip over to the amazing Sunshine Coast, and it did not disappoint.

This place is incredible, not only for riding. It gives me small NZ beach town vibes and I couldn't get enough of it. While I enjoyed all of the surrounding area of Sechelt and Gibson, Roberts creeks riding was next level incredible. I ran out of battery for our last run of the day but I got the first 2 top to bottoms and they were awesome.

First up was Hootie Hoo. A single black marked trail. We headed over here first as it was the furthest away from our start point, so we figured we'd hit it first and shorten our climb up each time. Work our way outwards if you will. What a wild way to start, straight into a steep chute that caused both me and Stu to lose control slightly haha. Sheesh if that was how it starts, bring on how it continues. It only got better, the dirt got a bit more moisture in it as we got lower and the trail started to come into its own. So many humps and bumps to hop through, tree roots to drop off of, switch backs to hit, rutted turns and good times. The dirt was soft and wood chippy. Such an epic feeling.

Next up was Pacemaker, this is an unmarked but named trail we found extremely easily. This got spicy and I'm nothing but here for it. It's steep, rutted, sketchy and so much damn fun it's unreal. I made a slight mistake and got off line about half way down but no matter, I kept it together and made it to the bottom with a massive grin on my chin.

Lastly, Predator. This was another fun one, maybe my least favourite of the 3 but when you've ridden 2 trails at a 9 out of 10, an 8 out of 10 is still the worst trail haha. It was also very awesome, I liked how it used the ridges and flowed down the mountain. We got some good pace up near the end here too where the trail straightens out. Absolutely epic times had by Stu and I here. Can't wait to do it again soon.
