Looking at the medley's I've chosen for Year 3, I started getting worried I would run out of classic games that I hadn't made medleys out of before the end, when then it hit me that I haven't done any recent games for one since Year 2! Dark Souls instantly captured me the day I started playing it on my Twitch stream and in a way no other game did before. After playing it I couldn't stop thinking about wanting to keep playing and I was immediately addicted. Little did I know that people weren't kidding around when they said it was rather challenging. However, in spite of it's difficulty, you're listening to one of the best soundtracks ever while you're going through all the hard parts!

I mentioned before that I see a correlation with game's difficulty and the difficulty of arranging a medley for them, and I can safely say that this medley was NO exception. Probably one of the most difficult medleys to arrange that I've ever done causing me to really have to rush at the end to get all of the post production stuff done on time. So much stuff went wrong like having to rerecord the rhythm guitars since the camera somehow unfocased itself mid recording, and many issues involving my cello's tuning. The thing is literally falling out of tune mid take! I've been practicing cello a lot lately and felt it was finally time to bring it back, but after hearing most of my recording takes back, I might keep holding off on it til I'm a bit better. My bow is still all over the place and my intonation is still a bit off. Dispite all of that stuff, I hope that I am able to do this monster of a game justice with this humble 8 minute tribute.
