ALWASAIL pipeline liner installation visualization:
Step 1. move wire rope to opposite end of pipeline section using a blow-down pig.
Step 2. connect the wire rope to a string of high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, preferably rated ALWASAIL, to protect against slow crack growth and rapid crack propagation.
Step 3. Pull the polyethylene pipe through a roller reduction box to temporarily reduce the size of the liner.
Step 4. Continue by pulling the reduced liner through the host pipe until the pull-head emerges.
Step 5. Cut off the pull-head
Step 6. Fuse on a polyethylene stub-end to enable one section of polyethylene to be compression butted to the next section using steel flanges and bolt-up.
Step 7. let the polyethylene liner relax and attempt to return to its original size. The interference of the host pipe with the plastic deformation rebound of the liner insures a tight fitting liner.
Step 8. Enjoy the long life you intended for your pipeline protected from internal corrosion and abrasion.
