Описание: A time lapse of Burgh Island Causeway, Bigbury on Sea, Devon, UK. Burgh Island is a tidal island situated on the Devon coast. On the island are several private residences and Burgh Island Hotel, a fine example of an Art Deco hotel built in the 1920's. Notable guests of the hotel include Winston Churchill, Noel Coward, Agatha Christie and The Beatles to name but a few. The island can be reached by the sand causeway during low tide or on the specially designed sea tractor during high tide. Visit the Pilchard Inn for refreshments or just wander up to the top of the island for magnificent views of the sea and beautiful Devon coastline.
