If your the racer, you want your car to pull the wheels, maybe not giant bumper dragging ones, but any air under the front tires usually brings a smile to your face. The wheelie secrets here are really universal for most cars with leaf springs and CalTracs. Although this video features my wheel standing 1969 Mercury Cougar. Some specifics, like springs, and strut rod are Ford, maybe AMC specific. Otherwise it all applies. You need 5 inches of travel in the front end, for best results. All front end parts need to be free, no binding, including upper and lower control arms. Can invest in high end roller upper and lower control arms, but not necessary. Good 90/10 front shocks, Check out John Calvert racing, unless your in the 9s, then better think about a Good Double adjustable ones, like Mark Menscer Motorsports, or you will be dragging the rear bumper.
