Drive Through Kollam–Punalur–Thenkasi Highway
Enjoy an hour-long scenic drive in 4K along the Kollam–Punalur–Thenkasi highway! Although the road is narrow, it offers an exciting driving experience. Surprisingly, I found very few potholes along the way.
The highway passes through several well-known towns, including Kundara, which was once the industrial hub of southern Kerala. It was home to prominent companies like:
Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Company
The Aluminium Industries Limited (ALIND)
The Kerala Ceramics Limited
The Lakshmi Starch Company
Unfortunately, many of these industries have either shut down or become defunct over time.
