Billy Wagner returns to the Pike County Courthouse for the first time since learning he could once again face the death penalty for his alleged role in the Pike County massacre.
His case is the last of the four Wagner family members for the murders of seven Rhoden family members and Hannah Gilley in 2016.
His son George Wagner was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in 2022. Billy's wife Angela and younger son Jake testified against him as part of their plea deal. Angela was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Jake was sentenced to life in prison with a chance at parole after 32 years.
The judge overseeing the case agreed to move Billy's trial but a new location has not been chosen.
