The Bonking has gotten much better and E2 injuries on backside from E1 bonking seem to be healing up. Hopefully E2 will continue to improve

Hello, this is Connor from Window to Wildlife. We installed the cam and help with the streams. We are monitoring the situation, we are not legally able to intervene unless there is a made issue. Like fishing line, trash, etc. USFWS deems this a natural issue. If there is a man made issue, we jump on the intervention extremely fast. We just did a fishing line removal for the Captiva Eagle Cam. Sibling rivalry is normal for bald eagles, but it isn't usually this bad. The recent lack of food has seemed to make the rivalry worse. There could be an intruder making it hard for parents to hunt
The injury looks worse than it is. It seems mostly superficial. Feathers are pulled and skin is raw. It can easily heal as long as the sibling leaves it alone. Which should get better with time and food
We will keep monitoring the situation and do what we legally can.
