Ever wanted to make cold smoked salmon at home? It’s easier than you think!
Today I'll show you step-by-step how to prepare perfect Cold Smoked Salmon using the Ninja Woodfire Grill – with just salmon, salt, and sugar.
No complicated methods, no fancy ingredients — pure flavor!
Ingredients:
Fresh salmon fillet
Coarse salt
White sugar
Preparation Process:
Mix salt and sugar at a 1:1 ratio.
Cover the salmon completely.
Add a weight on top and refrigerate for 12 hours.
Rinse thoroughly and dry well.
Leave uncovered in the fridge for 4 more hours until slightly sticky.
Set the salmon on ice in the Ninja Woodfire Grill and start the cold smoking process.
Check the grill to ensure it stays cool — no heat!
Every 2 hours, add fresh wood chips and replace the ice if needed.
Smoke for a total of 6 hours.
Wrap the salmon in plastic wrap and refrigerate for another 4 hours.
Slice and enjoy your restaurant-quality cold smoked salmon at home!
