Merida e160 First Ride – It Went Very Wrong!
Join me on my very first ride on my own Merida e160 eMTB — and trust me, it went very wrong right from the start! I nearly scratched my car window before hitting some epic trails at Whinlatter and Grizedale Forest. Riding with the legendary Monkey Kev, whose unreal smooth speed had me struggling to keep up, made this first electric mountain bike experience even more intense. Things got even more chaotic when Kev’s computer broke, leaving him with no power, and I took a crash during the descent into Braithwaite.

This video captures the highs, lows, and chaos of switching from a push bike to an eMTB on some of the UK’s best trails, including wild descents, technical climbs, and moments you won’t want to miss.
