Nashville Chattanooga & St Louis 4-8-4 J-3 Dixie #576 is built by the Alco in August 1942 hauls Heavy freight & Express passenger trains from the 1940s, 1950s unit it last run in September 2, 1952 The Locomotive donated to the People of Nashville, Tennessee and placed on display in Centennial Park. until in 2016 a group of Volunters start Nashville Steam Preservation Society to Restore the NC&STL #576 in operation for excursions to raise money for start the Restoration on 4-8-4 J-3 Locomotive at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum.
The Hancock 3 Chime Whistle of NC&STL #576 was used on NKP 2-8-4 S-2 Berkshire #765 for Steam in the Valley on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Ohio.
