The J200 instrument saga: ten years of analytical chemistry development using LIBS

In this presentation I am highlighting several analytical chemistry developments performed by my research group since 2013. These developments were performed using a J200 laser-induced breakdown spectrometry (LIBS) instrument from Applied Spectra. Univariate and multivariate calibration approaches were proposed to determine several elements in a myriad of samples, from hair, sugarcane, waste electrical and electronic equipment and food. The main goal is to present to the audience the possibilities that LIBS can offer to solve complex analytical problems.
