Adding a border in Google Docs is creating a visual frame or outline around a section of text, an image, or an entire page within a document.

This can be done using various methods, such as inserting a table, using the drawing tool to create a shape. Borders can be customized with different colors, thicknesses, and styles to suit the needs of the document.

🔶STEPS🔶
To add a border on Google Docs page,
1. Open Google Docs on your computer.
2. Create a new document or open an existing one.
3. Click on Insert from the menu at the top of the screen.
4. Click on Drawing from the drop-down menu and select New.
5. A new pop-up drawing screen appears; click on the Shape icon and select rectangle.
6. Now, draw a rectangle in the drawing area.
7. Once you create a rectangle, click on the Fill Color icon and select Transparent.
8. Again, click on the border color icon and select a color from the color grid.
9. Now, click on the border weight icon to set the border thickness.
10. Click on Save and Close at the top of the screen.
11. Now, click on the rectangle in your document.
12. Click on the three-dot menu icon and select All image options.
13. From right side of the screen click on Text wrapping and select the style, "In front of text."

Now, drag the rectangle to set it as a border for your page. You can resize it if needed by dragging the edges of the rectangle.

By following these steps, you can add and customize borders in your Google Docs document to enhance its appearance and structure.
