In Episode 9 of HumanitZ, we push further than ever before.
We kick things off riding through Hudson City on horseback to tease what’s coming next — then settle back at base to unload loot, build a stable, and prep for serious exploration.
Heading north to open more of the map, we discover a police station quest completely swarmed by zeeks… and decide we’re not equipped for that fight just yet.
Instead, we gamble on a nearby military camp.
Lots of zombies.
Lots of ammo spent.
Almost no reward.
Not worth it.
Moving on, we run into a trader being attacked and step in to help — scoring some 5.56 ammo and even finding a crossbow in a nearby store.
Big upgrade.
But while looting a massive zombie we just dropped, everything changes.
A hazmat zeek detonates.
The trader explodes.
His inventory? Gone.
Just like that.
With supplies sorted and lessons learned, we return home, manage inventory, feed the horse, and begin crafting armor for one of our vans.
Next episode, we roll out in an armored vehicle.
Expansion always has a cost.
