At the moment I'm doing 6-7 videos a per month, so every now and then I will drop an extra video outside of Fridays to fill that quota. Today is one of those!

"First View of Tokyo" plays when Mitsuha (as Taki) first sees the wonders of citylife in Tokyo, it's an uplifting string focused piece that always stuck with me. Short and sweet.

Quite difficult to adapt for piano effectively, initially I made it much more advanced but I felt that I overdid it. It's still difficult, but playable. I feel it does run at risk of sounding slightly empty in the second half. Not my most excellent arrangement but I think it conveys the original fairly well all things considered, covering those string parts with two hands is no easy task.
