The Hallow Saints
Step into the shadowed world of The Hallow Saints, an enigmatic post-punk and goth-influenced band whose music echoes the darker corners of the ‘80s and ‘90s underground. Active from 2016 to 2019, The Hallow Saints crafted haunting, slow-burning songs drenched in moody atmosphere and brooding basslines — a sound that drew comparisons to legends like The Cure, Joy Division, and Sisters of Mercy.

While most of their debut EP, Turn to Stone, drifts through mournful, hypnotic soundscapes, the track “Stars so Random” reveals their darker dance pulse — a coldwave beat that still flickers in underground playlists.

The band dissolved tragically after the untimely death of founder and bassist Hugo Larsson, a mystery that still haunts devoted fans. No cause was ever revealed, and the remaining members have never spoken publicly about his passing. In true underground fashion, a fan-made video for the track “Reflections” has recently surfaced, piecing together rare live footage and haunting CGI to keep their spirit alive.
