Описание: Director Patrick Ralston talks with Daleana Vaughan, education director for the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, during ARTalks on Nov. 12.

Vaughan gave a gallery tour and discussed exhibitions at the museum, arts initiatives and events. She also gave tips to parents and teachers who are trying to educate students about the arts virtually.

Vaughan has more than 12 years of experience in leadership, management, counseling and administration combined with a passion for the arts. She has been featured in several exhibitions, won the Polly Crews Hospitality Award and earned a certification in Art4Healing and a certification in Visual Thinking Strategies. She oversees the museum’s interpretive and educational programming, including educational arts programs for schools. She creates and implements educational arts programs in the museum that seek to attract, educate and inspire children.

Vaughan uses workshops to explore new techniques and give students the opportunity to discover their own voices through art.
