Ranking Richard Rich animated movies (1994-2001) EN / NL

Описание: Don Bluth and Jeffrey Katzenberg are the most famous people who ever worked for Disney and later founded a studio to compete with it. However, there is one more name we should not forget. Richard Rich was also a member of the Disney family during the 1970s and 1980s, as one of the directors of The Fox and the Hound and The Black Cauldron! In the 1990s he started making his own films.
Because we hardly know anything about him, it is evident that this was not a successful attempt as with Bluth and Katzenberg... Yet his filmography also deserves some attention, and he gets it today!
I will say that I only want to discuss his hand-drawn animated films, because he has apparently spent the last twenty years doing only 3D Alpha and Omega and Swan Princess sequels and they all look awful. So only his films from 1994 to 2001 are discussed today!

Don Bluth en Jeffrey Katzenberg zijn de bekendste personen die ooit voor Disney werkten en later een studio oprichtte om er mee te concurreren. Er is echter nog een naam die we niet mogen vergeten. Richard Rich was gedurende de jaren ’70 en ’80 ook lid van de Disney familie, zo was hij één van de regisseurs van The Fox and the Hound en The Black Cauldron! In de jaren ’90 begon hij met het maken van zijn eigen films.
Omdat we van hem amper iets weten valt het wel op dat dit geen geslaagde poging was zoals bij Bluth en Katzenberg… Toch verdient ook zijn filmografie wat aandacht, en dat krijgt hij vandaag!
Ik wil wel zeggen dat ik enkel zijn handgetekende animatiefilms wil bespreken, want hij is blijkbaar de laatste twintig jaar bezet met de ene na de andere Alpha en Omega en Swan Princess in 3D en die zien er allemaal afschuwelijk slecht uit. Dus enkel zijn films van 1994 tot 2001 komen aan bod vandaag!
