A lot of mist! In this video, I simulated boost by using the blower on my ShopVac. The previous video was vacuum. The car will never see water in vacuum. The system will be triggered at around 3 psi boost. As mentioned in the other videos, I have two nozzles in this short section of exhaust pipe. The M5 nozzle at the back may need to be downsized to an M3 or M2. One nozzle, probably the M2 will go at the throttle body and another M2 or M3 will go pre-turbo. I can't see any chance of detonation with this massive cooling mist. I may have to dial it back a bit.
Using this calculator , my system will be at about 19% water to fuel using 2 M2 nozzles. Appropriate range for water injection is 12.5% - 25%.
