Snakes are well and truly on the move!!!

Описание: What a week we have had. After all the rain, the snakes came back out in force!

Starting in the early hours of Thursday morning after a young girl in Buderim woke to a Carpet Python entering her room at 1am! They called me straight away and I headed over to catch it. We worked out that it must have also come through the doggy door where they had found a few things knocked off the shelf. Not a lot of sleep for us snake catchers but its all part of the job.

And sometimes not even seeing them when a lady in Castaways Beach was out in her yard near the fish pond feeding the goldfish when she noticed a large black coloured snake about a foot away from her. She instantly moved away and yelled to her husband who called us. They did a fantastic job of watching the snake and we were able to catch it relatively quickly once we arrived!

I was also called to a home in Buderim during the massive rainfall that we had. The snake had come in out of the rain and decided to hide in under the family's BBQ. Westy was out helping the SES during the storms so I was on my own so excuse the filming angle at the end. haha.

We also went for some LIVE action on the back of the JetSki as we released another Sea Snake back into the deep blue, after some time off at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital!

And once again, we see the kings of getting inside houses…. the tree snakes, live up to their reputation as we have multiple calls for snakes inside homes which end up being these cheeky tree snakes!!

The snakes have certainly been on the move since the sun has come back out. Please if you see a snake in your yard, keep a safe distance and leave it alone, If you want it relocated please give us a call anytime.
