Описание: I wanted to capture Obi Wan, Luke and Anakin's shared story in this vid, and convey the power of this song – the journey from hatred to love, darkness to light, tragedy to redemption. The Star Wars saga has so much weight in it – and you realize so much of it is experienced through the eyes of Obi Wan Kenobi. It's horrifying to realize he went from such a fun, optimistic young Jedi Master to the lonely, distant figure on Tatooine, ostensibly to protect Luke but also, I think, to make penance for not seeing the darkness in the closest of his friends, his padawan, his brother.
So this vid is a journey of three Jedi. It tries to capture the tragedies each of them has experienced and the betrayal and love that went both ways among all of them.

❝ about the vid
I actually started this a while back and was just mindblown by the song and how literal it can relate to the Star Wars' story. I discovered it in a Luke playlist on 8tracks (probably should find the playlist and link it here!). And Sleeping at Last... their songs are always soul-punching poetry, deft and swelling with Truth. Probably the only band that has made me cry just listening to their stuff. I hope you guys enjoy my latest SW vid!
