So Team Fortress 2 Classic was a TF2 mod that promised to provide an experience based on the game's original design. It was planned to have things like new game modes, new maps, new weapons and even the cut civilian class as the mascot! And with Valve's official blessing, though requesting that they change the name for some reason, Team Fortress 2 Classified secured a spot in the minds of TF2 players hungry for more content! And after streaming it immediately upon release many weeks ago, I gotta admit.....it's pretty dang amazing! The VIP mode is super fun, the civilian class is as funny to play as he is to voice, weapons like the Sniper's Hunting Revolver and the Demoman's Mine Layer and the Medic's freaking health grenade launcher brought some fresh life to the classes and because it's made by the TF2 community I imagine it'll be getting tons of support in the future! It feels good to be a Team Fortress 2 fan in 2026 and we're gonna be playing this mod more tonight with my Discord community! Specifically, I'm gonna use one of my favorite new weapons the hunting revolver to see how many of each class I can kill throughout my multiple hours of playing! Headshots don't matter, but they would get the job done faster. X) And I'll be keeping tally of which mercs were the easiest prey!
