Qatar Airways operates limited relief flights as Iran war disrupts Middle East air travel

Only a few dozen passengers were on board one of five Qatar Airways flights returning to the Qatari capital.

The crisis is also disrupting air freight and global logistics, with Qatar Airways among the world’s largest cargo carriers.
Aviation experts warn the disruption could have lasting effects just as the industry was recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The crew says fighter jets may accompany aircraft approaching Doha to ensure safety.
