I wanted to show what the reference mold images look like in comparison to the designs 🌟 can you see the resemblance?

While we don't design with a completely strict rulebook, having to abide by mold growth patterns exclusively- we try to incorporate some research into the designs, for those really curious! Hopefully you guys get joy out of seeing these silly guys coming from somewhat scientifically accurate depictions! 💜

The design pipeline I generally follow goes:
Decide on a food group, identify mold growth types in that group
Decide on type of meal for design mindset
Gather images of that food... moldy... as we as mold microscopes for a moodboard
Design personality type & Battle punchline
Create visual concept (this reel!)
Once approved, design dialogue & Battle Attack sequences for Mold
