John Mpamei & The Band is a dedicated, talented and resourceful musician who started his career as a Western Violinist under the supervision of Prof Herickcolby at the age of 13. The profound knowledge in music helped in extending the career to work in renowned schools internationally as a highly talented musician who choreographed and held concerts.

Mpamei, who is a violinist, vocalist, drummer and keyboardist, started out in 2004 as part of local rock bands such as Green Mixed Band and The Harvest Teams. After working at a music equipment store in Dubai for three years, he released his first solo single “Fly Away.” Mpamei was back in India on holiday and heard about Hard Rock Rising and thought he'd take part. Mpamei recruited members from Delhi thus forming Mpamei & The Band.

The song is about longing for someone, missing the moment that had shared, but can't move out though it's far away.
