The Enforcer, developed by Gavin Raeburn of FX Arcade and published by the Power House in 1987.

"You are compelled to accept the importance of the Durge Caverns. Masticate on the consequences of your actions. ROBOTISE. This is the first underground Raeburn and it's fast and hardsville. Jump, escape, kill as grease lightening. DO NOT DECOMPOSE."

Released as a £1.99 budget game and listed as the forth game by Gaxx (Gavin Raeburn). The game contains 15 levels of platforming action which surprise surprise has no ending and loops endlessly. However the difficulty doesn't seem to change when the game loops.

The game is short but really challenging. You need to move left/right through the levels collecting all the stone tablets to end the level. The amount to find is displayed at the top of the screen along with the level timer which can be frustratingly strict as well as your energy meter. Enemy creatures will sap away your energy if you make contact with them. You can shoot them, but it can be challenging to line up shots as your crouch position is mostly useless. If energy or time runs out it is game over.

Along the way, there are crosses to walk over which serve as checkpoints. These come into to play if you walk into spikes or laser fences. If you die, you will bounce back to the last cross. Some doors require keys to get through. Some strategy is requires in order not to use a key to early causing you to get stuck behind doors further along the path.
