"In response to the appeal made by Hon'ble Governor, Manipur on 20.02.2025, urging individuals to surrender illegal arms and ammunition, several weapons and related items were handed over to the authorities as follows -

i) At SP- Kakching, Kakching District:
01(one) no of .303 Rifle with 01(one) magazine, 13(thirteen) nos. of .303 ammunition, 04(four) nos. of BP vest, 05(five) nos. of BP Plate, 04(four) nos. of helmet.

ii) At OC G. Saparmeina-PS, Kangpokpi District:
01(one) no. of looted tear gas gun.
iii) Handed over by Security Forces to Kakching OC, Kakching District (recovered from Kakching Wairi area)
01(one) no. of 5.56 mm INSAS Rifle, 01(one) no. of 5.6 mm caliber Rifle, 01(one) no. 12 Bore Rifle, 01(one) no. of 12 Bore Short Gun, 01 (one) no. of 9 mm Pistol, 01 (one) Air Pistol, 01 (one) no. of 303 Rifle, 04 (four) nos. of 12 Bore Rifle (single Barrel), 01 (one) no. of 12 Bore Water Cannon, 01 (one) no. of 36 Hand Grenade, 27 (twenty seven) nos. of 9mm live rounds, 92 (ninety two) nos. of 7.62 mm AK 47 live rounds, 40 (forty) nos. of 7.62 mm CTN, 45 (forty five) nos. of 5.56 mm INSAS live rounds, 13 (thirteen) nos. of INSAS live rounds 20 KF (small live rounds), 65 (sixty five) nos. of 303 live rounds, 30 (thirty) nos. of 12 Bore live Cartridge, 02 (two) nos. of 5.56 INSAS Empty Magazine, 01 (one) no. 303 empty Magazine, 01 (one) 9mm Pistol Magazine (Made in China), 02 (two) nos. of 303 Rif. Telescope Sight, 01 (one) no. of Bipod (Small), 03 (three) nos. of 9mm FCC, 05 (five) nos. of 303 Bore FCC, 04 (four) 7.62 mm CTN FCC, 02 (two) nos. of 7.62 mm AK FCC, 04 (four) nos. of 5.56 mm INSAS FCC, 02 (two) nos. Tear Smoke Shell, 13 (thirteen) nos. of Motorola Set (small Size), 09 (nine) nos. of Motorola Charging Adapter, 01 (one) no. of Bayonet, 28 (twenty eight) nos. of BP Jacket, 38 (thirty eight) nos. of BP Plate, 01 (one) no. Helmet, 01 (one) no. of Khukri, 01 (one) no. of CPU, 02(two) nos. of Carry Bag Black Colour, 01 (one) no. 45 Caliber live rounds and Indian Currency- 2,50,000/-(two lakhs fifty thousand)" says Manipur Police.
