WATERFALLS in Florida | Rainbow Springs State Park

Описание: Rainbow Springs is a great place to hike in Florida and has an interesting history.

In the 1930s, this former phosphate mine became a privately owned theme park. Waterfalls were built on piles of phosphate tailings, and a zoo, rodeo, gift shops and a monorail with leaf-shaped gondolas were also added. Although man-made, the THREE historic falls, like the park, date back to the late 1930’s, and have become a part of the area’s history.
