In the wake of April 8 judgment of Supreme Court Bench led by Justice JB Pardiwala fixing deadlines for the Governor and the President to decide on Bills forwarded by state government in the (Tamil Nadu Government versus Governor case), the Centre has taken the Presidential reference route (Under Article 143) to the Supreme Court to seek certain clarifications rather than filing a review. The President has asked 14 questions to the Supreme Court.
