We both moved abroad separately to Germany over 10 years ago. After years of learning German, planting roots in our new home and navigating culture shock, we met through happenstance. Eventually, we created the Americans in Germany Drinking Whiskey Podcast.

Now we’re here on YouTube releasing a video each week! We discuss the differences between daily life in Germany and the USA, give advice to those who are hoping to make the move abroad and share plenty of funny stories and weird knowledge about being an expat in Germany.
