Meet the artists: Brock Seals and Kevin Titzer at City Museum

Описание: ST. LOUIS – Artist Brock Seals and Maria Cassilly, City Museum Historian, are here to talk about two exciting exhibits opening this Friday, January 30 at City Museum in St. Louis. We’ve heard the old saying that one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, but to Indiana-based artist Kevin Titzer, junk is an artform. In his exhibit, “And Who Should I Say Is Calling?” he will be using recycled/repurposed items found around City Museum and their warehouse to create a display. Titzer’s exhibit is on display through April 4. Brock Seals is one of St. Louis’s most influential artists. A self-proclaimed "artivist", Brock has curated an exhibit for Black History Month called “Blessed by the Ancestors” which he has done the past few years at City Museum. His exhibit is on display thru March 1st. You can meet both artists and see their creativity at an Opening Night Reception this Friday, January 30 at City Museum.
