The first story is about Christy Brown, who lived with cerebral palsy and whose only body part that moved was his left foot. Many thought he was a crippled idiot who would never speak and was mentally challenged. He shared with the world what it was like being a prisoner in his body. In the movie "my Left Foot," he is played by Daniel Day Lewis.
The second story is about my father and his best friend Joe, poor kids, managed to get bicycles for free. These stories come from STORIES OF THE POLTER, HEILIGE & POLTERGEIST.
