Iain Lanphier is well on his way. The 16 year old is the great grandson of legendary Tuskegee Airman Charles McGee, and working to become a fighter pilot like his elder. The young student pilot hopes to take his check ride on his 17th birthday, and dreams of attending the US Air Force Academy. The teen was in town for McGee's internment into Arlington National Cemetery, and took the time to visit AOPA where he went on a flight in our Cessna 182. AOPA Pilot's Julie Summers Walker caught up with this bright young man.
