Hey everyone! This is a new series called Shopify Dev Tips with a purpose of sharing small, but substantial tips that will help you when working on Shopify themes. For this first video I go over the ways to add jQuery to your storefront. jQuery is one of the most popular and most used JavaScript libraries in the history of JavaScript and is still heavily used in most existing Shopify stores. I will go over 2 ways to add jQuery: through a CDN link and using ES Module syntax.
CDN link will work for almost any store and workflow, but for ES Modules you'll need use a workflow that supports ES Modules. Try Workshop CLI (linked below) if you want to use ES Modules.
