Outlining a Winning Tall Tale | Education Session | TM Abrar Ahmed Wani

Описание: A tall tale is a story that is greatly exaggerated with unbelievable elements. The ‘tall’ is used to describe an ‘obvious extension’ from the usual meaning. Like all good stories, a tall tale should include a character with a specific goal. Also, there needs to be a conflict or a climax. The tale would be about how the character overcome the conflict and achieve his goal. Unlike in a traditional story, the character in a tall tale can have some extraordinary abilities that help him achieve his goal. The goal does not need to be complicated.
This education session explains how to build a winning tall tale from the ground up. Starting from an idea, then building content around that idea or thought. Also, delivering the story with engaging humor, imagery, pun, vocal variety and exaggeration. The education session is conducted by VP [Education] ITC, 2nd Runner-Up District-122 Tall Tales Contest, Toastmaster Abrar Ahmed Wani on 21st December, 2021.
