Cauliflower & Prawns Stir-Fry | Chinese Style Recipe

Learn how to stir-fry cauliflower & prawns
Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
300g Cauliflower (cut into bite-size pieces)
100g Prawns
1 Green Chilli Pepper (thinly sliced)
2 Cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
1 Tsp Cooking Wine
½ Tsp Vinegar
⅓ Tsp Cornflour (mixed with 10ml water)
Salt to Taste
Method:
1. Place the prawns in a bowl, add the cooking wine and mix, leave to marinate for few minutes
2. Boil water in a pan with a pinch of salt, add the cauliflower and blanch for a minute
3. Remove cauliflower from pan and drain
4. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in the wok, over high heat
5. Place the green chilli pepper and garlic in the wok, fry for few seconds
6. Add the prawns and stir fry for 2 minutes or until turned pink
7. Add the cauliflower, stir fry for a minute
8. Add the vinegar, pinch of salt and stir
9. Stir and then pour the cornflour mixture in the wok and stir
10. Transfer into a dish and serve
