Asthma can be much more serious than many people realise.
Australia has one of the highest burdens of asthma in the world. In this video, two Perth families share their story of raising children with the respiratory condition. Features commentary from Dr Graham Hall, Respiratory Researcher at Telethon Kids Institute.
"The ultimate goal for all researchers who work in the asthma field is, of course, to find a cure. In the meantime what we really have to do is find new treatments, find better ways of managing asthma, so people with asthma and children with asthma can lead healthy lives."
