HEC (Higher Education Commission) has officially given in-principle approval for a newly designed 4-year LLB program, replacing the existing 5-year structure. This decision was made during a key committee meeting involving major stakeholders including the Pakistan Bar Council, Directorate of Legal Education, and leading legal education experts.
The new curriculum is developed in line with international best practices and tailored to meet Pakistan’s current legal education needs. The proposal now moves forward for formal statutory approvals before final implementation.
