The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) - An introduction series by EdDeeD. Part 6 - Streams

Описание: NIOS provides various streams to accommodate the diverse needs of learners:
Stream 1: For new learners who want to appear for the public examination conducted by NIOS. This stream is divided into two blocks:
Block 1: For students registering for the April-May examination. Registration typically opens around April-May, and students enrolled in this block appear for their exams in the subsequent April-May examination cycle.
Block 2: For students registering for the October-November examination. Registration for this block usually opens around October-November, with exams conducted in the following October-November cycle.
Stream 2: For students who have already appeared for the board examinations but could not clear them or wish to improve their performance. This stream allows students to transfer credits for up to two subjects passed in previous board examinations of other recognized boards and up to four subjects passed in previous NIOS exams. This is for students who wish to take the regular exam session.
Stream 3: Similar to Stream 2, for students to take the On-Demand Secondary Examination.
Stream 4 : Similar to Stream 2, for students to take the On-Demand Senior Secondary Examination
