No LPG Shortage in State | Oil Companies Clarify Amid Rumors

Описание: Amid concerns over a possible LPG shortage due to tensions involving the United States and Israel, oil companies have clarified that there is no shortage of cooking gas in the state.

Officials from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited urged people in Hyderabad, especially in Kukatpally, not to believe rumors circulating on social media about gas shortages. They confirmed that adequate LPG stocks are available and advised citizens not to panic or make excessive bookings.

Authorities explained that supply disruptions were mainly due to overbooking by consumers, not because of a real shortage. Meanwhile, enforcement officials conducted inspections in Karimnagar after reports of illegal activities related to LPG. Several cylinders being illegally refilled were seized during the raids.

Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against black marketing and illegal LPG refilling operations. Citizens are advised to rely only on official information from oil companies and government authorities.
