Mittagong Maltings
Tooth & Co Brewery
The Maltings consisted of 3 large malthouses established in 1899.
Malthouse 1 and 2 were extensively damaged by fire in 1942.
Over the following 12 months malthouse 1 was temporarily repaired with more repairs taken out over the following years.
Malthouse 2 was completely rebuilt and reopened in 1953.
Another fire closed malthouse 1 permanently in 1969.
Production continued until 1980 when a fire broke out in malthouse 3.
Im not sure what malthouses were what however I will edit this part of the description as more information comes to hand.
