The illegal nexus between politicians and criminals is unfortunately nothing new. In an example to the same, an audio clip alleged to be the conversation between Kampli Congress MLA J N Ganesh and a person involved in sand mafia.
In the audio conversation, the MLA is allegedly heard promising the man that he would instruct the cops not to obstruct their lorries.
It is alleged that the MLA takes nearly 4-5 lakh rupees for transportation of 2-3 illegal sand lorries per week.
