Maroon 5 is set to perform in Lincoln on October 28 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena as part of their "Love is Like" tour. Front man Adam Levine and lead guitarist James Valentine shared insights about their latest album and personal reflections in a recent interview.
Levine described the creative process behind the album as a "DaVinci code thing," explaining, "I have to go back, cause it's so stream of consciousness a lot of the times, I'll throw a lot of things out there and try to make sense of it and put in the song. I'll go back and be like 'oh California like that also sounds like a very specific time in my life but I set out to write about that experience when I wrote the song.'"
