A Brace of Irish Atlantic Salmon on the Fly - July 2021

Описание: A mornings fishing on two rivers in July 2021 producing two Atlantic Salmon weighing approximately 11 and 3lbs.

As this is an older video recorded on a poor camera, I’ve cut out much of the rough footage and grainy sound. I’ll talk more about tactics in future videos that will be lengthier.

The fish were caught on a 15mm brass Moy Special tube, which you can see tied in the video link here    • FLY TYING THE MOY SPECIAL SALMON FLY WITH ...   .

The fly rod was an inexpensive Shakespeare oracle scandi with gaelforce 30ft floating line and 6ft intermediate tip.

Originally these videos were recorded for the sole purpose of my own fishing log and memories, hence the lack of polished videography. I’m hoping these videos will inspire a few new anglers both young and old. Anglers are the salmons greatest advocates. The more angler on the river the better.
