Koffylaagte Game Lodge is situated in the Karoo heartland and Greater Addo area, in the Eastern Cape, a mere 130 km from Port Elizabeth. Koffylaagte, means 'Coffee Hollow' and owes its name to its colourful history as the resting place of the early settler traders. The 1870's farmhouse, its decor and artifacts, as well as the ox wagon, that rests outside the Farmhouse, bear testimony to this bygone era and make Koffylaagte a uniquely South African Game Lodge.
