Описание: The first units on scene of a fire work quickly and efficiently to pull attack lines, establish water supply, conduct a search, and complete many other tactics used to extinguish the blaze. The last units on scene are assigned to the Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC)- and are assigned specifically NOT to engage in operations, so that they might be ready to conduct a firefighter rescue immediately if the need should arise. When assigned to this role, firefighters frequently conduct a 360 of the structure to get a lay out of the building and gauge fire conditions.

This is a recently released video capture from a fire that occured on March 26th of 2018. While circling the structure, this video capture from the second-due truck company catches brief parts of the various operations conducted during the firefight. While it is not the intense video capture of a first-in attack line, it is an interesting encapsulation of the fireground. You might notice the concept that 'slow is fast;' that deliberate actions at an easy pace creates much faster results than quick actions at a reckless speed. This well-involved fire is extinguished within minutes of arriving on scene.

The Stockton Fire Department consists of 12 firehouses, and protects 350,000 people. Stockton Firefighters responded to more than 48,000 emergencies in 2018, including an average of at least one working structure fire a day. You will notice the Engine '201' in this video capture- which was installed at Company 2 as a second fire engine for 30 days (at the time) as a trial.
