Deadly Overnight Shooting Outside a Checkers Restaurant in Hollywood: Police

Police are investigating a shooting at a Hollywood Checkers restaurant that left a man dead Saturday morning.

Hollywood Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the Checkers parking lot at 6171 Hollywood Boulevard around 12:20 a.m. Saturday.

21-year-old Tyshawn Marshall was shot killed, police say.

Detectives are looking for a black male suspect in his 20s, driving a newer model black Ford Mustang. It is unknown at this time if the Marshall knew the suspect or what caused the shooting.

Hollywood Detectives are also looking for anyone who was in the area at the time or if they know anything about the shooting to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-967-4636. Information can also be given to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
