Now that we are comfortable (again) with the principle of inclusion-exclusion, we want to explore some of the many ways we can use it to solve problems. We start in this video by looking at a different notation than we used in our last video. Please note that our text uses P1 while I use c1, but the concept is the same.
We will then look at another way to organize our problem using S0, S1, etc and finish up with an application of PIE which can replace the sieve of Eratóstenes.
