Mentawais OFF SEASON Is Better Than You Think (surfer’s paradise)

Описание: We spent 10 days at Kandui Resort from late January into February — right in the heart of shoulder season in the Mentawai Islands, and this is exactly what it looked like.

Empty lineups.
Perfect mechanical barrels.
Surfing from sunrise to sunset.

We scored Corners and 4 Bobs completely to ourselves for multiple sessions. At times, it was just our crew trading tubes back and forth — no one else out.

Ryan Boyd left early and ran into proper Indonesia. Mid-trip, Easton suffered a serious injury, and we had to navigate the reality of being on a remote island, deciding whether he needed emergency transport off.
